Mellen and Patricia also offer trip planning services for anyone heading to France. Whether you need some general suggestions or a detailed itinerary, we can help you. We can assist with train and airline schedules, hotel and restaurant suggestions, sightseeing tips, and details you’d never find in a guidebook. Our French itineraries are designed to help you get the most out of your trip to the Hexagon, whether it be your first or your fiftieth.

We usually start with a telephone or e-mail conversation, asking questions designed to help us understand what kind of a traveler you are and precisely what you do and don't like to do on vacation, as well as where you want to go. Then, we draw up a draft and review it with you and tweak it until it's just right for you and your fellow travelers. You'll get the final product by e-mail or snail mail, whichever suits you.

Your itinerary can be as detailed as “This morning you’ll wake around 8 a.m. in your second-floor room with balcony at Les Fontenilles and proceed to Fauqué for a café crème” or as general as “I suggest you split up your time in the Loire and spend two days in Angers and two in Amboise.” Whatever level of detail YOU are comfortable with.

We charge $40 per hour, and a typical itinerary takes 3-4 hours to complete.
